12/26/2023 0 Comments Kongregate trimps gameIs this directed at me, too? Okay, let’s cut the livesupport and look how it goes! WOOOoooooo……….~ **beeeeeeeeeeeeeep** “He’s dead” > Now go do something with your life instead of wasting it on this game. You do something hard, you delay pleasure, you allow yourself to be bored, you meditate, you excercise and you think positive. ![]() It’s very very simple, it’s called discipline. But you can change, and I can change… and so can everyone else. I don’t blame you, everyone is like that, even me. Not in a year, not in a month, not next week, not tomorrow, not even today… you need it this very second! The excessive dopamine flooding your brain has made you less sensitive to it, so you need more. ![]() > You would still complain about something else, and you know why? Because it’s not the game that’s the problem, it’s you. > Making the game easier would change nothing… I repeat that… nothing at all. > It’s not about the destination, it’s the journey. > You’re missing the point of this game dude. I appreciated Trimps while playing but I feel it’s time to move on. So if you want to make any progress, you really are forced to leave the game on all the time.Īnyway, that’s just my two cents. Yes, you do get resources from trimps, but not from clearing maps/zones. But the point is that I should be able to leave the PC for a few hours or even the day and still make progress (other than just grinding a map).Īnother issue I have is that the game doesn’t allowed you to continue making progress offline. I don’t think it needs to be 100% auto and it could be a good perk to unlock for people that after already played a fair amount. Specifically, I feel like the game needs some way to auto-purchase upgrades and storage while idling. How could it be better? Well, I think some of the anti-idle nature of the game has to be changed, though I’m not sure if GreenSatellite or others want that to happen, so that’s fine. After nearly 50 portals, I’m got burnt out on doing the first 80 zones. Once you get to zone 120 or so it feels like a major grind, to me at least, and the best way to proceed is to do a bunch of shorter runs with fast portals which only makes it worse. It requires a lot of micromanagement and constant checking to make any progress. I doubt I’m telling anyone that has played Trimps anything new when I say it’s not really an idle game. Unfortunately, there’s a major issue I have with the game that I don’t think will ever be changed – It’s not really an idle game. I feel that GreenSatellite has done a good job updating the game with consistent fixes and improvements. ![]() I’ve been playing since pre-release and have collected nearly 2 million helium so I have a pretty long experience with Trimps. So I’ve decided to retire from Trimps (note – I’m not calling it quitting) and I wanted to share why mainly because I feel like GreenSatellite is working hard on the game and he might appreciate some feedback.
